Bournemouth & District Irish Society was founded in the early 1980s to promote the interests of the Irish community in the Bournemouth area. The Bournemouth area encompasses most of East Dorset, so even if you don't live in Bournemouth itself then look us up! Activities have always been many and varied and have provided a representative voice for the Irish community. |
The Society does not have its own premises, but the Committee meets on a regular basis to plan and organise events for the enjoyment and benefit of the members. The Society is a member led organisation which is non-Sectarian and non-politically aligned. Anybody is welcome to join. |
